Why Elderly People Need AAA

I’m taking a trip soon and this got me to thinking about this. Below is my list of reasons why older people should get AAA coverage:

  • Older people have more accidents than younger people. You may need a tow.
  • There is a serious lack of public transport in this country so you will be on your own if your car breaks down.
  • You may be physically less able to change a tire.
  • You may be physically less able to walk a long way.
  • You may forget to put gas in the car or even check it while driving.
  • You may forget where you are or where you are going but you can make a call to get out of trouble, assuming you didn’t forget your cell phone.
  • Being on a fixed income you may well be driving an older car more prone to breakdowns.
  • Older people are driving more than ever which means there is a greater probability of a breakdown.
  • Your children will be a lot happier knowing you can call AAA if you get into trouble.
  • Stranded older people are easy pickings for the criminal element. Don’t be a victim.

Take care of business and buy the insurance.
