The Queen launched her own video site on You Tube just two years after knighting Bill Gates and revealing that she had never used a computer. Since then the Queen has embraced the changing technology which such ferocity that she is now quite a Techie and is affectionately called “The Queen of Geek” around the palace (although, not of course, outside the perimeters of Buckingham palace where such an act of subordination would be subject to hanging or worse still spending an entire evening with Prince Charles discussing the best manuring practices on his estate) Here are a few of her recent accomplishments:
Queen of Texting
Although a Utah teen has the official title speed text-messaging king of the world the queen is the unofficial Queen of texting. It is reported that during a recent State Dinner she sent the following text message
“Hey you owe me big time. Next time I stay home and watch TV while you attend another boring State Dinner. I am surrounded by imbeciles with terrible table manners. Get me the heck out of here” in an amazing 38.25 seconds.
iPod User
The Queen has her iPod packed with tunes to get her through her busy schedule. With her headset discreetly hidden by the Royal Tiara she can listen to Kanya West and Slash (her personal favorites) while attaining such events as the Opening of Parliament or another Prince Charles Royal Investiture. She also has the reputation for making videos of excellent quality and an has an uncanny knack of being able to capture friends and visitors in “unusual” situation and has a vast private video collection
We are assured that none of these has ever been used to intimidate foreign dignitaries into sending expensive gifts …Rumors abounded after President Bush went missing for 12 hours during a recent visit. The Palace vehemently denied press reports that he had been the subject of a Royal Prank and held captive and locked in the Tower of London on charges of treason. Police reports that footage of the incident were circulating among members of the Royal Family were dismissed as complete fabrication and it was entirely coincidental that the new red Hummer equipped with Texas cow horns arrived at Buckingham Palace hours after he was “found”
iphone a Necessity
She owns several iphones and is in constantly on the air waves and much to the chagrin of her children and grandchildren insist on being on everyones “fav five’ list or risk being stripped of all titles and privileges.
The stories of her hacking her way into the Royal Treasury files and given herself a hefty annual increase are reported to be crossly exaggerated.
Welcome and we salute you!
